This game is the capstone project for the prestigious GameUp Africa 2024 program, showcasing months of immersive learning and creative development.

Dive into the magical Whispering Forest, uncover secrets, and overcome platforming challenges to locate the legendary Rosflare plant and unlock a portal that leads you to victory.

📖 Backstory

The Whispering Forest is a mysterious, enchanting realm known for its beauty and peril. At the heart of this forest lies the mythical Rosflare plant, surrounded by a magical glowing yellow barrier.

The village's fate depends on you. As the last hope, you must navigate this treacherous landscape, find the Rosflare, and unlock the portal to bring it back to your people. Failure is not an option.

The path is filled with obstacles, but the forest also offers subtle guidance. Trust in its glowing mushrooms—they may reveal the way forward.

🎮 Gameplay Objectives

• Find the Rosflare: Your main goal is to locate the Rosflare plant, hidden deep within the forest.
• Unlock the Portal: After collecting the Rosflare, activate the magical portal to complete the level.
• Navigate Platforms: Traverse platforms of varying difficulty to progress through the forest.
• Use Mushrooms as Guides: Look for glowing mushrooms to help you find your path through the dense and challenging terrain.

🕹️ How to Play

On Mobile:

• Move: Touch the left side of the screen to guide the protagonist’s movement.
• Jump: Tap the jump button to leap over obstacles and onto platforms.
• Precision Jumping: First press the jump button, then touch the movement control while mid-air to guide where you want to land. Timing and accuracy are key to successful platforming!

On Web:

• Move: Hold the left-click mouse button on the left side of the screen to control movement.
• Jump: Press the Enter key to jump.
